Annie and the Caldwell's have it. Here in Mississippi we call it 'The Anointing'

The group includes: Annie and her three daughters Anjessica, Anora, and Deborah singing. Her husband Willie, with their two Sons Abel and Willie Jr. playing guitar bass, and drums.

Annie likes to recount how the group got started. "One day when the girls were in high school, I heard them singing outside rehearsing to be in a talent contest. I thought "Gosh, that's so pretty. I gotta get these kids before the devil get em!"

Annie and the girls have strong soulful voices that's a mixture of Contemporary and traditional gospel music, Willie taught the boys To play their instruments, Willie Jr. on bass, Abel on drums, and Willie himself on lead guitar as well as writing original material, and Perfecting a unique harmony, and sound that's truly unforgettable.

"Our parents brought us up in Church. We've been doing gospel all our lives." And we were taught to fear God as well as take head to the things that God can do" says Annie

Annie and Willie are parents of five children. They are the owners of a dress shop on main street in West Point, Mississippi, their home town. They enjoy being an active part of Church and community events, Including, The Prairie Arts Festival each year.

Everyone in the group writes songs, giving them new original material for their newest CD, and is currently working. "The inspiration comes from life experiences and knowing the power of the Lord" says Annie. "Sometimes The Lord gives you a song, and you might be feeling low, and the song picks you up"
